This is because it has a slight arch to make the pendant more comfortable while being worn. The center head will take a 8.3mm princess cut diamond or gemstone.<br>

<p>As legit LEGO&#xAE; bricks are <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.reddit.com/r/AskEngineers/comments/ah5cfz/how_amazing_is_legos_tolerances_really/">very precise resolution</a> (<code>+/- 0.05 mm</code>), I had to paper sand a bit the bricks in order to have them nicely fit together next to each other.</p>
<p>Also I had to glue them onto the plate to make it really cohesive. Because I often move it in my desk, and hate to have to collect small pieces on the floor :D</p></div>
