This is a model of a very common style of post seen at the side of UK roads. Torbjorn Sculpt

 Torbjorn is one of the 12 characters from Overwatch, a new game that Blizzard is launching probably between the end of this year and 2016(we are all still waiting the Beta, isn't?) :D Given I'm a Blizzard dependant I decided to spend some time building this character entirely in Zbrush. When the model was finished I've also started to work on a articulated version of it to make a toy completely support free and adapted to be printed in one-go. This version is the static figurine of it wit better details that I did during the first sculpt process. A big thanks go to our post processing team for the nice painting, thanks!!

F6F-3,5 Hellcat engine cowling for Niezgoda RC plane

This is the F6F-3,5 Hellcat engine cowling for my UMX Hellcat in 1/24 scale based on the design from Mr. Niezgoda www.13thsquadron.com.

<p>First official winter Sunday evening in the UK so decide i needed a quick project. 5 mins in fusion and 35 mins printed i had this....</p>

<p>This is a minimalist stand that will hold two 100x3mm lithophane (note the fit is very tight, i did this by design to ensure they stood vertically). Not sure if anyone else can make use of it but please feel free.</p>

<p>Note - the top that holds the two lithophanes in line in the picture is about 50 taller than the finished design in the attached STL.</p>

<p>Since the introduction of the lion symbolism from Indian culture especially through Buddhist symbolism, statues of guardian lions have traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, Imperial tombs, government offices, temples, and the homes of government officials and the wealthy, from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and were believed to have powerful mythic protective benefits. They are also used in other artistic contexts, for example on door-knockers, and in pottery. Pairs of guardian lion statues are still common decorative and symbolic elements at the entrances to restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and other structures, with one sitting on each side of the entrance, in China and in other places around the world where the Chinese people have immigrated and settled, especially in local Chinatowns.</p>
<p>The lions are usually depicted in pairs. When used as statuary the pair would consist of a male leaning his paw upon an embroidered ball (in imperial contexts, representing supremacy over the world ) and a female restraining a playful cub that is on its back (representing nurture ).</p>

This replaces any of the center vents for an BMW E30 and will fit a 52mm gauge.
