I broke one warrior lance when removing support cause it was to tiny. I took no chance and already put bigger lance. You should have no problem removing supports without breaking any parts now. <div><p>When I bought a Super Serial Card II for my (Unitron clone of a) Apple ][+, I realized that it only came with the //e backplate for securing the DB-25 cable to the back of the computer.</p>
<p>Of course, I decided to try to build one myself, based on some reference images I found on eBay listings and from the Super Serial Card&apos;s manual itself.</p>
<p>Overall, I think it&apos;s a pretty decent reconstruction, though there are a few things I wouldn&apos;t mind changing. That&apos;s why it&apos;s still a WIP; I&apos;ll probably do an update to it someday.</p>
<p>The screw holes are for example too big in diameter, so the screws don&apos;t fit too well, especially in the back panel (and if you&apos;re screwing any cables onto the DB-25 port, they&apos;ll probably try to bring the port with them when you take them off). Also, there&apos;s still quite a bit of movement in the clamp itself, especially when the lid isn&apos;t on.</p>
<p>Not bad for a few hours and ten or so test prints, though, so I&apos;ll probably be able to fix those things if I revisit it sometime.</p>
<p>Anyhow, I figured I&apos;d share this, as I couldn&apos;t find a model anywhere else online (if I did, I don&apos; t think I would&apos;ve tried to make my own, but it was a good experience nonetheless :]</p>

                        </p><div><p>The PETG I used prints kinda like PLA (needs to be a bit hotter/slower, though) and it&apos;s <em>almost</em> flexible as something like TPU (at least from what I know of flexible filaments).</p>
<p>Most importantly, it&apos;s a good compromise between being flexible and being strong. Less rigid than PLA, but some of the finer details would&apos;ve been a difficulty with PLA, especially in taking off the supports.</p>
<p>Speaking of which, you&apos;ll probably have a bit of trouble with the supports on the back side part, especially along the cutout. But if you use something like what I found with a bit of &quot;give&quot; then it shouldn&apos;t let you down.</p></div>
