Summer Waves Skimmer Pump Delete Intex to 1.5"

This thing deletes the summer waves skimmer pump and replaces it with a 1.5" intex threaded male connector.  

I built this to replace the small summer waves pump with my big Intex sand filter and pump / salt water chlorination setup.

Just unscrew the collar from the bottom of the skimmer, pull the pump out, put this in reusing the o-ring that was used to seal the pump, and that's it.

Intex 1.5 to Summer Waves Skimmer Adapter

Male to Male adapter connecting Intex pump 1.5" to Summer Waves skimmer (male).  Printed in PETG for resiliency but probably prints well in about anything.

<p>After 3d scanning a hat with Photogrammety (used my cell phone + AGI Metashapes) I designed this in Rhino 6. I placed patterned tape on the hat face during the photo process, to give the algorithm  more pattern match points.</p>

<p>I created this wheel with the software DesignSparkMechanical (DSM) because for the story when the painters came repainting the outside of the house, they damaged my barbecue wheel with the scaffolding. So, instead of buying a barbecue I made the wheel.</p>

This challenge was "Another link in a chain..." Create an object that has a connector on two sides. Produce it again and again, linking each together. The parameters were Summer, Uniformity, and Lone Star.

Our chain link is a 6 pointed star which captures the idea of “Lone Star”. On top of the star is a half of pineapple that is laying on its side, this represents the summer aspect of the challenge. The star is a 6 point star creating a uniform shape and covering the uniformity category.
