Here is a longer version of my Picatinny riser. This is the 25mm height version in two lengths - 80mm and 100mm.

Fractal VRC-25 Support Bracket

The vertical GPU riser bracket from Fractal started to slightly bend after a few months.

<p>These risers go under each corner of the printer and raise it about 1/5 inches to provide clearance for the spool to be above the bottom shelf.</p>

I plan to mount them on a piece of plywood so that they stay in place as a rotate the printer over the edge of the desktop to change filament. <p>Many people prefer their keyboard to angle back further as they find the higher angle makes pushing keys easier and typing is more comfortable as well as being less tiring on your hands / wrist.</p>
<p>The Apple Keyboard Risers are quick and easy prints that allow users to raise the back of their keyboard by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25mm to suit their personal angle of preference (.stls for each of these sizes provided).</p>
<p>Changing your Apple Keyboard angle is simple... first determine the best set for your personal preference by placing objects temporarily under the back of your keyboard to raise it up. Find things approx. 10 / 15 / 20 / 25mm (so the same as the options provided) to see which angle you find most comfortable... download the file and print two.</p>
<p>Installation is simple... on an accurate well set up machine they should be a firm / tight push on fit. Install one on each end just inside the standard keyboards rubber pads. Rotate the Apple Keyboard Risers forwards, so more underneath the Keyboard, until they cannot rotate further. They have been designed to be stopped from rotating by the underside of the keyboard and have been slightly angled so they will not rotate backwards during use.</p>
<p>The standard Apple Keyboard has rubber pads underneath that help stop it from sliding during use. As these pads will no longer make contact with the surface they Keyboard is being used on it is recommended to stick some thin rubber / non-slip pads onto the bottom of your Apple Keyboard Risers. Suitable adhesive backed material should be easy to find at any hardware store.</p>
<p>The Apple Keyboard Risers have been trialled with a number of Mac users with very positive feedback. Most users seem to prefer the 15mm and 20 mm options. They are quick and easy to print as well as use very little filament.</p>

Crosman 1377 Steel Breech Riser

This is a printable breech riser for the Crosman steel breech. The included STL is a 5mm riser. You can customize the riser height in the SCAD. You can also tweak the hole diameters also. Keep in mind you will need a longer hammer pin for cocking, and longer screws: the rear is an 8-32, and the tiny one in the loading port is a 4-48.


We put our UM2 on a rubbermaid style cart so that it would be easy to move around if need be and there is storage space below for filament and stuff. It turns out that the surface of the cart was not completely flat. I could hear (and then see) the UM2 rocking back and forth as the print head moved from one side to the other. So I took a big slab (2&quot; thick) of high density closed cell foam we had lying around and put it up on that. Then I noticed that the standard &quot;feet&quot; of the UM2 were &quot;sinking&quot; into the foam. So I wanted some feet to spread the load out.<br>Also I have heard (read) about the electronics of the UM2 overheating. So the feet are also there to improve air flow under the base. I don&apos;t know if the overheating thing is common, rare, or just an old wives tail, but I figure it probably can&apos;t hurt.<br>Lastly, I used plain jane PLA, well technically it is Form Futura Easyfil, so I don&apos;t expect the feet to help or hinder vibration by themselves. The 2&quot; thick slab of closed cell foam should probably dampen some vibration... but I am no vibration expert.

Designed these to add some shock absorption to my longboard with TPU risers and reduce the teeth-rattling feeling I had going over cobblestones. These fit standard drop-through trucks and match the hole pattern for mounting. They're 2mm tall which allowed me to fit them without getting longer screws for the truck mounts, use the scale z command if you'd like them thicker/thinner.
