Spindelschutz / Spindle Protection

Ein kleiner Spindelschutz als steckbarer Aufsatz. Hatte mehrfach die Situation, dass sich die Filamentzuführung hinter der Spindel auf der Rollenseite verklemmt hat. Mit der Führung sollte das Problem behoben sein.

Das Teil sollte mit der Öffnung für die Spindel und der Steckvorrichtung nach oben hin ausgerichtet gedruckt werden. Es kann sonst Probleme mit den Supports geben.

Update: Aussparung für Spindel etwas schmaler ausgeführt in dem File 1_1. Sitzt einfach besser.

<div><p>I have had IKEA &quot;Dioder&quot; lighting strips on my printer for a couple of years using some earlier brackets I designed.<br>
However they were a bit weak at the light strip attachment points and did not hold the light strips out quite far enough to reduce shadows from some of the X/Y carriage parts.<br>
So when one broke recently I decided to design new ones that are both more robust and which space the light strips outward toward the print area.<br>
These should fit on any printer using 2020 t-slot framing.<br>
I used an earlier clip design that I had with a finger tab as a basis.<br>
The finger tabs make them very easy to install and remove.</p></div>

<div><p>If you are using later versions of Cura as your slicer, I do recommend enabling the &quot;Mesh Fixes&quot; options. This will smooth the sharper corners of the parts and may reduce blobbing. For these parts I set the maximum resolution to 0.75mm, the maximum travel resolution to 0.8mm and the maximum deviation to 0.1mm. The ideal settings for your printer may vary.</p></div>

IKEA "Dioder" light strip bracket clips

I have had IKEA "Dioder" lighting strips on my printer for a couple of years using some earlier brackets I designed.
However they were a bit weak at the light strip attachment points and did not hold the light strips out quite far enough to reduce shadows from some of the X/Y carriage parts.
So when one broke recently I decided to design new ones that are both more robust and which space the light strips outward toward the print area.
These should fit on any printer using 2020 t-slot framing.
I used an earlier clip design that I had with a finger tab as a basis.
The finger tabs make them very easy to install and remove.
