<p>Guitarz only need a couple of rubber (or stretchy nylon) bands to complete a playable, tuneable mini guitar that&apos;s styled after an electric guitar. Just pick he rubber band strings or strum away....</p>
<p>There is an internal cavity that has been designed in.to improve the sound. As with a real guitar, tuning is all important. Once you have tuned your Guitarz, you can play a basic tune on them. Obviously they aren&apos;t loud as a full size metal stringed guitar but with a bit of tuning they can deliver a surprising range of notes and even be strummed.</p>
<p>This is an easy and fun print. The body of Guitarz is almost hollow however there is a small amount of designed in permanent support structure so no support is required (for PLA prints). Using support could result in the body being filled, not hollow, which will affect the sound output. The hollow body, albeit a small area, makes a difference.</p>
<p>Preparing your Guitarz to play post print is easy.... just run 1 / 2 / 4 rubber bands (depending on what you have available) around the band slots in your Guitarz making sure each band follows its respective slot (Refer to the images provided).</p>
<p>Tension can be adjusted by wrapping the rubber band/s around the pins on the underside which will alter the note when the band is picked. Altering the position of the rubber bands around each end of your Guitarz will also affect the tension and note created when picked or strummed. Tuning can be a bit fiddly and variable (as rubber bands will stretch etc.) but easy to do with a bit of experience.</p>
<p>Obviously this will never match a real guitar but, as a fun 3D printed musical instrument, once you&apos;ve played around with the band tensions it&apos;s surprising how readily you can play a few simple notes to make a tune.... and you can even strum them.</p>
<p>At standard scale Guitarz are 160mm in length. Scaling up is no problem but scaling down may make fitment of rubber bands and tuning difficult (...the slots will reduce in size)</p>
<p>To make Guitarz multi-color pause your machine and change filament at approx. 76% and 96% progress (with a 1mm raft)</p>

There is a very small amount of designed in support that should break away almost by hand if well sliced and printed. This should leave the handles free to turn. Please refer to the images and print settings / instructions for additional information... and post images of your prints for other members to see!                                             <p>The range of &apos;Candle Holder Numbers&apos; provides a great &apos;year appropriate&apos; decorative centre piece for a Birthday Cake. Numbers 0 - 9 have been provided as .stl&apos;s so you can make any combination of years being celebrated. Unlike the number candles you can buy in a shop you can print these in your choice of colours to suit the cakes decoration.... and they are reusable. Just place regular Birthday Candles in the hole in the top of each number (Obviously you can place additional candles around the cake to reflect the year as well if you want).</p>
<p>At standard scale each number is 10mm thick then has a border of another 2.5mm which can be printed in a second colour. Just pause your machine at around 87% when it starts creating the raised areas (Z-Pause at 12mm on a Replicator 2 with a 1.0mm Raft).</p>
<p>The &apos;Candle Holder Numbers&apos; have been designed to take standard 5mm diameter Birthday Candles so do not scale up or down as it will affect whether or not the candles fit or stand up well. However, if you have candles of a different diameter you can easily scale the numbers to suit.</p>
<p>Each number is approx. 60mm tall at standard size and has a prong on the base to ensure it stands up securely when fully inserted into a cake.</p>

                                            <p>&apos;Ghosts in the Window (or Wall)&apos; is a decorative print for Halloween or fun anytime. This is a two part print that is intended to create the illusion of a Ghost travelling through a solid window or wall... because half is mounted one side and the other half mounted on the other side. Simple but effective!</p>
<p>Three .stl files have been provided. One is for both parts in a single print the other two are each part ready to print individually. At standard scale the Ghosts are approx. 85mm tall. Print in white, translucent natural or glow-in-the-dark filament.</p>
<p>Provided your prints stick well to the build plate this should be an easy print. Ghosts don&apos;t use a lot of filament (Just over 30gm at standard scale with a Raft) but as they have thin walls, so a lot of outlines, do take a while to print.</p>
<p>Apply some good double-sided tape or similar to the flat surfaces of your Ghosts then stick in place so it appears as a single entity travelling through the solid object. Making sure the two halves are aligned will ensure the effect looks great.</p>
