 Bells really need to be made of metal to &apos;ring&apos; however this easy one piece print does a surprisingly good job due to the shape, internal space and clapper movement. The fact is it resonates (rings) so has a tone. If you hold the sides instead of the top, and the sound changes. The clapper causing the bell surface to vibrate / resonate generates a note / tone so you can argue it rings and isn&apos;t a rattle... but you can be the judge by printing one for fun.
The clapper builds up separately from the body with its shaft expanding at the top to stop it from coming out; When printed on a precise well set up machine the clapper should be free and swing easily in all directions.
The walls of the bell are thin so it doesn&apos;t consume a lot of filament. However using high infill will increase the weight of the clapper and help it ring better. 2 Shells and 50% of more infill (PLA) is recommended.
Using a Raft is recommended as it will allow the print to be removed from the build plate gently. This will be reduce the risk of damaging the clapper as the raft can then be removed gently (and more gently than puling the print directly off the build plate with no protection for the clapper. A small waste ring has been included in the design so the raft should extend across the entire base of the bell (otherwise some raft will form under the bell and a separate section under the clapper so the raft will not achieve the desired result of gentle / easier print removal.
This Ringing Bell is a unique shape and includes a hanger on top. This is a fun, novelty print that can be used simply to create noise from a 3D printed thing or as a decoration at Christmas etc.

The headphone stand options should provide a stand solution for (almost) any pair of headphones. They rely on the tension between the sides plus small lugs that protrude 10mm into the earpiece to hold them in place. This makes the design extremely simple and a small uncomplicated print.
If you want somewhere to place your regularly used headphones this stand could be just what you need...
There are five options to choose from:
Standard - The &apos;Standard&apos; version should mount almost all types of headphones. The earpieces will sit 75mm apart with this option.
Tall - The &apos;Tall Retainer&apos; version is approx. 30mm taller than the &apos;Standard&apos; version (but the same width) and includes a small fitting for directing a cable. This type should be printed for headphones with the cable exiting from the underside and you want to be able to leave the cable plugged in for charging while on the stand (i.e. Noise cancelling types etc.).
Medium - Probably the least common version. The earpieces will sit 100mm apart with this option (so they need to measure less than that when not under any tension... as tension is required to hold them in place)
Wide - The &apos;Wide&apos; version is made for sets of headphones that have a fairly solid/rigid top band that fixes the width (i.e. Not a flexible springy top band as used on may headphones). The extra width is necessary for this type of headphones as the earpieces don&apos;t come close enough together to use the standard type. The earpieces will sit 75mm apart with this option.
Wide Tall - As per the wide version above but 30mm taller for people needing the extra width but also to allow for the cable entry from underneath.
A super simple, really easy... and very effective solution to store regularly used headphones. And, when well mounted, the headphones top band cats as a carry handle for the headphones and the stand together.

For this reason I&apos;ve named the new piece &apos;Earl&apos; but it could just as easily be called Baron or Lord, all of which are regarded as being a Noble in the medieval hierarchy. However, &apos;Earl&apos; seemed the best to me as an Earl is not too senior and this piece replaces two pawns on the front row at the start of the game.
How to play with the &apos;Earl&apos;:
As with the Knight/Rook/Bishop each player starts with two Earl&apos;s
The Earl starts the game on the front row and replaces the two pawns in front of the Bishops
The Earl is similar to a pawn in that his moves are restricted. However, he can always move up to two squares at a time (a Pawn can only move two straight forward on the first move).
An Earl can move straight and diagonally including moving sideway and back A pawn cannot do this.
This makes the &apos;Earl&apos; a very useful player because he can move in all directions but is limited to two squares at a time.
An &apos;Earl&apos; can take on both straight and diagonal moves.
Unlike pawns, if an Earl&apos; reaches the opposing end of the board it cannot be swapped for one of their previously taken pieces.
All other rules stay the same. This keeps it easy so players quickly adapt...
Why play with &apos;Earls&apos;:
Adds a new dimension to the traditional game. This doesn&apos;t necessarily make the game quicker but gives a player loosing a number of key pieces an increased chance of still claiming victory. This can make it all the more interesting and challenging.
If one player is significantly better than another, such as when an experienced player is teaching a novice, the experienced player can start with all the traditional pieces and the novice is given Earl&apos;s as a competitive advantage. This can help new players stay engaged as, without an advantage, they can get tired or losing all the time.

 &apos;Willpower&apos; is something people are often heard saying they need more of... like when they start a diet, want to get fit, aiming for a challenging goal. Making changes in what you do and/or how you do it usually takes a fair degree of... Willpower&apos;.
Now you can get more... 3D print your own &apos;Willpower&apos; battery pack. That&apos;s the fun/novel idea behind this simple print. However, done right it&apos;s another great example of what you can do with 3D printing because the &apos;Rotating&apos; version has a sleeve that spins around the Centre part.
The process is very straight forward... print the Sleeve first (including colour changes if you want). You need to print this first so its ready for later in the process...
With your Sleeve completed print the Centre part but pause your machine almost at the end of the print, slide the Sleeve onto the uncapped Centre section, making sure it&apos;s fully seated at the base of the Centre part, then finish the print.
The change point is critical. You have to pause it at 47mm (with a 1mm Raft). Any sooner and the extruder/nozzle will hit the Sleeve.... any later and you won&apos;t get the Sleeve on because the cap will have started to be printed on. The cap part seals the Sleeve into the print. To make identifying the point easier for people without Z-pause on their machine the design includes a small notch. When this starts appearing pause your machine. (Refer to the images).
When printed with mid-print colour changes the result is impressive... give it a go!
There is also a Solid type for people wanting to print some &apos;Willpower&apos; for themselves or as a novel gift to give to someone when they need it....
Recommended points are:
. Sleeve Colour changes at 2mm / 44mm with a 1mm Raft. . Centre part Sleeve insertion point at 47mm (or as soon as you see the notch start appearing (Refer images). . Solid type can be changed at 1mm / 3mm / 45mm / 47mm if you&apos;re keen to make it look like a real AA battery (0 - 1mm and 47 - finish should be the same colour as they represent the contact points on a real battery).
People are sure to find this fun, so a great little gift, and the rotating version (combining 2 parts into a single moving thing) is another clever application for 3D printing that will amaze people.

WILLPOWER

 'Willpower' is something people are often heard saying they need more of... like when they start a diet, want to get fit, aiming for a challenging goal. Making changes in what you do and/or how you do it usually takes a fair degree of... Willpower'. Now you can get more... 3D print your own 'Willpower' battery pack. That's the fun/novel idea behind this simple print. However, done right it's another great example of what you can do with 3D printing because the 'Rotating' version has a sleeve that spins around the Centre part. The process is very straight forward... print the Sleeve first (including colour changes if you want). You need to print this first so its ready for later in the process... With your Sleeve completed print the Centre part but pause your machine almost at the end of the print, slide the Sleeve onto the uncapped Centre section, making sure it's fully seated at the base of the Centre part, then finish the print. The change point is critical. You have to pause it at 47mm (with a 1mm Raft). Any sooner and the extruder/nozzle will hit the Sleeve.... any later and you won't get the Sleeve on because the cap will have started to be printed on. The cap part seals the Sleeve into the print. To make identifying the point easier for people without Z-pause on their machine the design includes a small notch. When this starts appearing pause your machine. (Refer to the images). When printed with mid-print colour changes the result is impressive... give it a go! There is also a Solid type for people wanting to print some 'Willpower' for themselves or as a novel gift to give to someone when they need it.... Recommended points are: . Sleeve Colour changes at 2mm / 44mm with a 1mm Raft.. Centre part Sleeve insertion point at 47mm (or as soon as you see the notch start appearing (Refer images).. Solid type can be changed at 1mm / 3mm / 45mm / 47mm if you're keen to make it look like a real AA battery (0 - 1mm and 47 - finish should be the same colour as they represent the contact points on a real battery). People are sure to find this fun, so a great little gift, and the rotating version (combining 2 parts into a single moving thing) is another clever application for 3D printing that will amaze people.  The &apos;MakerBelt&apos; is a wearable one piece 3D printed belt. Files are provided to suit most waist sizes. It&apos;s ultra slim, so uses very little filament and, once snapped on, it won&apos;t come unclipped until you want to remove it.
The &apos;MakerBelt prints in a spiral approx. 10cm in diameter so it should print okay on most machines that print accurately and have a good quality surface finish. These print really well on Replicator 2&apos;s and 5th Generation Replicators.
Be creative... print one off belts for events, in the colours of your favourite sports team or national flag... even glow in the dark for Halloween. Just pause your machine at the appropriate times during the print and change colours to suit.
Each &apos;MakerBelt&apos; file has three &apos;capped&apos; slots printed into it for sizing adjustment. Refer to the sizing chart as a guide to the &apos;MakerBelt&apos; file to print. Once printed, remove the Raft and designed in support under the clip, then press out the appropriate cap in the slot to suit your waist size... it should come away easily.

'MakerBelt'... Wearable Ultra Slim One Piece 3D Printed Belt

 The 'MakerBelt' is a wearable one piece 3D printed belt. Files are provided to suit most waist sizes. It's ultra slim, so uses very little filament and, once snapped on, it won't come unclipped until you want to remove it. The 'MakerBelt prints in a spiral approx. 10cm in diameter so it should print okay on most machines that print accurately and have a good quality surface finish. These print really well on Replicator 2's and 5th Generation Replicators. Be creative... print one off belts for events, in the colours of your favourite sports team or national flag... even glow in the dark for Halloween. The comb is compact at only 110mm wide and 4.25mm thick. The prongs are tapered just like a normal comb down to 1.5mm so the prongs are strong. As the number of prongs are limited in keeping with the Monster &apos;M&apos; logo it&apos;s not as fine as a regular comb but still works okay... the hardness of the PLA makes it a fraction harder on your head but nothing tat would bother a &apos;Monster&apos;.
This is a relatively quick and easy print that is both fun and has a practical application.
