The Nokia 5110 LCD was delivered with pins installed, so I had to modify the original case (<a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:188205" rel="external">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:188205</a>).&#xA0; It&apos;s easier just to mod the case rather than apply heat to the very thin PCB and remove the pins and solder. &#xA0;This new height will allow you to use a plug on the pins and slide the original back cover back on (maybe even some other electronics, like an LED)&#xA0;original slim profile case: <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:188205" rel="external">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:188205</a> &#xA0;

I wanted a dock for my phone, so I made one. The USB hole is a bit big allowing all sorts of USB cables. Sticking it in permanently with hot glue, Sugru, or Shapelock plastic will lock it well. Just make sure you have your phone in the place you want it to sit before fusing in USB cable. Made with TinkerCad.
