The eyecups fit tightly and clip on to oculars, when pushed all the way onto them.

For my own educational purpose I was looking for a model which is harder to draw than usual. It can be 3d-printed on any Ultimaker for sure (other FFF-printers as well probably). I don&apos;t recommend scaling it down by more than 40-50%. But if you want to print it smaller I suggest diving into the SolidWorks files.

I moved the hole where phone camera should be placed to the center of the adapter so that you can use phones where the camera is on the center of the backside. I also decreased the cylinder diameter and made the piece that holds the phone simpler and wider so that my Nexus 5X fits. Notice that in my purpose (Karl Suss PSM6 probestation microscope) the phone is placed horizontally so this simpler piece is enough to keep the phone still. If the adapter is tilted, this solution might not be strong enough to keep the phone still. For assembly you need 2xM3 nuts and bolts.

Neopixel Ring Light for Stereo Microscope

This is a 3D printed low profile ring light holder for Amscope microscopes.
It is designed with a 16 LED neopixel clone in mind.
Designed in Fusion 360, printed on a Prusa i3 MK2

This adapter attaches to the camera&apos;s tripod socket and does not mechanically load the camera&apos;s lens. It also grabs the eyepiece tube on the microscope and does not grab the eyepiece itself. This puts all the load on the eyepiece tube, but it seems to be OK. 

You have to zoom to 50mm or else you&apos;ll get vignetting.

There are 3 parts to print- the base, the camera lens coupler, and the eyepiece coupler. Once you&apos;re sure it all fits properly, screw the base to the camera lens coupler and glue the eyepiece coupler to the camera lens coupler. The whole thing fits tightly on the eyepiece tube which you can easily resize to match your own microscope.

I printed with Coex3D ABS, 0.25mm layers, 30% infill, 3 top and bottom layers and 3 perimeters.
