                                            <p>This is a small 3d printed led light i made for my vegetables houseplant.</p>

<p><br>Designed to be as cheap as possible and let you grow your own food, but to give the maximum efficiency and don&#xB4;t involve any soldering. It&apos;s perfect to raise not very light demanding plants or for early stages, i&apos;m sure it also can be used for photography, hydroponics, aquaponics, any kind of indoor setup and anything else you got in mind!</p>
<p>This light consists of 4x bridgelux BXEB L0280 led bars which are driven by a Meanwell driver in parallel with two options:</p>
<p>APC 35 - 1050: driving each bar at 1.05A/4 = 262,25 mA.Gives us a total power at 20v of around 1.05*20 = 21W<br>LPC 60 - 1400: driving each bar at 1.4A/4 = 350 mA. Gives us a total power at 20v of around 1.4*20 = 28W</p>
<p><br>Compared to commercially available solutions, has a lumen output similar to a HLG 65 vegging board, efficiency close to DIY COB leds (Vero, CXB3590, Citizen... ) but with a higher coverage area. Nothing to do with other cheap solutions as 5050 led strips, chinese amazon lights or e27 bulbs.</p>
<p>Max drive current of the boards its 700mA so we are always under half of the current with any of the boards, so heatsink isn&apos;t mandatory. At the current used they have a 180 lm/w efficiency, not bad at all for they price.</p>
<p>APC variant has been tested for over two months already and hasn&apos;t show any problem, LPC variant has not been tested, because i don&apos;t have the driver, but i made the model also because i thought like its so if somebody build it any feedback would be very welcomed! 3d files available at thingiverse and myminifactory</p>
<p>Always wear sunglasses when looking at this leds! never put them in a place where you can have direct vision of them.</p>
<p>This lamp is working for me, but I am not in any way electrician and i can&apos;t assure this is complient with all security directives, always double check all connections, think on your own if everything is safe. Design is not fully isolated so use in humid spaces it&apos;s not recommended, i am not responsible in any way of material or personal damages caused for misuse, bad mount, or anything else derived from this model.</p>
<p>Size of each piece is 7.2 mm to be printable in any printer and made to fit 200mmx200mm printers, probably could be printed thinner, for that just scale that axis.<br> All four sides are the same so you need to print:<br> -For apc driver:<br> 4x side<br> 1x apc<br> 2x Wago_apc<br> -For LPC driver<br> 4x Side<br> 1x LPC<br> 1x Wago_LPC</p>

Best DIY Led grow light fully 3dprinted for $30

 This is a small 3d printed led light i made for my vegetables houseplant. <p>How I designed this: I used Autodesk Fusion 360 as my design software. I designing the bottom piece first. I drew a 100 mm square and extruded it 50 mm. I then shelled it 5 mm inwards. Next, I made a sketch at the top and extruded it to make a rim. Next I added a new component and made a 50 mm tall square on top of the last piece. I then extruded a square inside the piece and used a circular pattern sketch to create the holes. Finally, I used a voronoi sketch generator plugin to create the voronoi patterning on the bottom piece.</p>

This is intended for elementary and middle school students in a science or biology class; however, anyone can participate. This project does not require any skill or prior knowledge.</p>
<p>Lesson: After you have printed the self-watering planter for your students you are going to demonstrate how it works. Tie cotton strings to the holes in the top piece of the planter making sure the strings are long enough to reach the bottom of the planter. Wet the strings and fill the bottom piece about half way. Fill the top piece with soil, plant the seeds, and water the soil. Capillary action in the string will replenish the soil with water. Place the planters by the window sill and let the seeds do their work! While you wait for the seeds to germinate you can teach your students about germination and photosynthesis. How in depth you go into both topics is up to you. The plant seeds you choose are also up to you. Remember to check the water levels every few days.</p>
<p>Duration: The duration of this lab is as long as it takes for the seeds to germinate and grow plus the time it takes to print the planter. It will take a few weeks but it does not require a lot of work.</p>
<p>Rubric and Assessment: How students are graded is up to the instructor. I recommend grading them on the health of their plant plus a quiz on what they were taught.</p>

I designed this planter to be easy for 3D printing. No supports. No rafts. And most importantly, no leaking! Planter: PLA Resevoir : PETG IMPORTANT: Tune your PETG with a calibration cube first. I found 200 micron to be the best layer height

It was built to fit the Ultimaker 2 platform as per the dimensions they state, but after I noticed it needed to be printed at 98% to properly print. Normal to high quality print only. Need to ensure it is water tight for siphon to work properly. <br><br>A 5 gallon bucket design is also included, made to fit a 11,75in ID standard bucket.<br><br>I designed a clear or natural print cover to fit. But at this point it is not necessary.&#xA0;<br><br>I printed a very small scale version to test the siphon system; it functioned. When the container became near full the drain began to drain until it was near empty again. Some will adjustments to the bell siphon exit port or to the pump will need to be made. This is to properly match the flow output vs input. The output should always be higher than the input.
