Grip Handle for Overbed Table with Gripping Texture

So if you're a cripple like me, you have an overbed table that just *sometimes* gets out of reach or needs to be pivoted left/right in just a specific way, but are unable to do it without getting up.

This is a grip for the Gdop26 Spring Thunder that is inspired by the Orion Blasters Lynx's grip.

 It requires no support material to print. As a bonus, the rear of the grip can be printed in TPU for some padding.

Print the frontstrap laying down on it's back. Print the backstrap standing up on it's base. Make sure to use any "lay flat" feature of your slicer to ensure the parts are flat onto your bed!

Assemble with two 1 1/2" 6-32 screws.

Sure, I could let a care aide take care of it, but I knew with a little help I could do it myself. So I designed a device that&#x2019;s almost like a miniature seesaw which afforded me leverage over the buttons.</p>
<p>To install simply slide the printed part onto the handset starting at the bottom. It should wedge in place near the top.</p>
<p>This was designed specifically for my handset that came with the Arlo Maxi Sky. I would guess it will work on any similar handset as it appears manufacturers are just rebranding the same model of handset for their own lifts.</p></div>

There&apos;s a healthy amount of tolerance built in but YMMV. I can modify the model if you encounter difficulties with the &quot;hinge&quot; and &quot;paddle&quot; fusing together.</p></div>

Do not rotate the tool, don&apos;t let your fingers grab under the bottom edges of the tool - then you&apos;ll no longer be training your pinch grip!</p>
<p>This Thing includes an STL for a thicker tool (40mm x 160mm x 90mm) as well as a narrower tool (20mm x 100mm x 50mm), but you can also use OpenSCAD to fully customize it.</p></div>
