I made the body larger and shorter to fit better under my hanging coffee cups and give more wiggle room for the beans when measuring. Tommy also gave me the original thing&apos;s Fusion 360 files, and I was able to do so much more with them! I made the cub closer to the burrs when grinding for better popcorn control, and I improved the slopes within the hopper to prevent straggling beans. The print quality this time was much better, so I haven&apos;t done any sanding or whatnot. I am going to finish it with polyurethane at some point, and I&apos;ll add photos then.<br><br><br><br><i>This is a functional <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">v1 of my</span> remix of tommydadog&apos;s original design. I definitely profited from their design of the coupling mechanism because I&apos;m very new to 3D design! Thanks!!</i><br><br>

So I created this design so that I could use the plunger as a dosing cup to weigh the beans (pro tip, add a sprinkle of water before dropping them into the grinder - eliminates static!)<br><br>

In a future iteration, I&apos;d want to get rid of the flat part on the bottom so no beans would be able to sit there, and I&apos;d make it just slightly wider for some wiggle room.</div>

<div><p>My print was actually pretty bad (see photos), so I had to do some sanding. I wiped it down with some butcher block conditioner to give it a nice deep, matte finish and make it slightly more food safe (maybe? idk). The grind setting indicator wasn&apos;t very obvious, so I painted it with white nail polish and matte top coat.</p>
<p>In the final version, I&apos;d want to do a couple thin coats of food-safe resin to seal the deal.</p></div>

My grinder is sold under many many brand names around the world with slight differences so I included STL files with no holes so perhaps you can scale and drill them to fit your variation. </p>
<p>This mounts by slight flexing around (over) the existing bolts which hold the wheel guards together. I used a step drill to finish the hole diameter.</p>
<p>Print with a flame proof filament and use a flame proof vacuum cleaner with nothing vacuumed up that is flammable. Sparks are hot and stuff can catch on fire if things go wrong.</p>
<p>Print these with a wide brim. Flip on to the flats which make all the surfaces 45 degrees or more vertical so no supports are needed. Push the tubes together and the layer lines will secure the assembly.</p>

Note: Do not print face down (i.e. cover facing the hot bed) as it will make the clips weaker and more prone to breakage.

<p>You only need superglue, sandpaper, a ball of string, 175 x 25 x 32 mm grindstone (A bigger wetgrind grindstone could be better because it has more momentum and it makes finer results. But i wanted to make it and designed it for more standart and easy to find parts.) and some machine oil except 3d printed parts.</p>
<p>It could be better with ball bearings and some heavy metal parts. But my challenge is making it mostly with 3d printed PLA. There is only two small parts which maded with TPU are &quot;Grindstone Shaft Stud Cap&quot; and &quot;Grindstone Shaft Stud Handle&quot; (The second one is optional.).</p>
<p>It could be a good educational material for understanding some machine components.</p>
<p>Most of bench grinder motors could reach better results. But you can make effective results with this grindstone too. It is portable and energy free and still faster than whetstones for getting effective results. You need to holding the knife cross while sharpening. Because shaft is short and you can hit crank or gear wheel.</p>
<p>It requires some precious afterwork and it turns better after some hours of working.</p>
