This filament-roll-system is very cheap. I use it on my printer-table, which is aN IKEA LACK-table. You need the printed part two times, one on the left, one on the right side. Just fix it to the LACK-table with screws. The &quot;spool&quot; is a cable-tube of 16mm outer diameter, in germany two meters are sold for about 2 or three euros in DIY-shops. 
The tubes have a bigger diameter on one side, and this part is on the left side in my case, the right side of the tube has a small hole drilled into and a metal-splint fixes the tube here so it can&apos;t slide out of the right holder. 
Its no problem to put three or four filament-rolls on it, and its possible to use other spools of same diameter.

I needed a bracket to mount my 3d printer filament spools to the wall. I went online, called a few stores, but what I envisioned was quite unique. I could make something from pipes at Home Depot I figured...Instead I modeled my ideal bracket on the computer. It took 20 minutes and then I sent the file to my 3d printer. I had my bracket in my hands an hour later. A little sanding and polishing and I screwed to the wall.It cost me 75 cents in plastic and saved me and the planet of waste. It was also quite fun and I learned something. Now I am sharing it with you. I had a hard time finding a spool holder that I liked. The one i settled on didn't work well when the filament was low on the spool. the spool would be lifted up off the beaings and land sideways on the table.The cart we put our Ultimaker2 on has steel side panels and I like the spool being lower than the Ultimaker2 so that the filament can go relatively straight up into the feeder.I thought about putting a lazy-susan on the floor, but I want the cart to be "self contained" and I didn't want people kicking it.This is designed for the Ultimaker brand filament. Large Spool Stand

The design features threaded (M8) connections. The threaded rods has to be printed vertical. I have used Curas  line support material. A thread cutter (M8) is useful to clear the threads.


This is an addition to my Large Spool Stand (<a href="https://www.youmagine.com/designs/large-spool-stand" rel="external">https://www.youmagine.com/designs/large-spool-stand</a>). These parts replaces the origin bottom supports so a normal 750g spool can be handled by the stand if turned upside down.The CAD files contain the whole design, not only the new center and side supports.

This is a filament spool holder designed to fit inside a food dehydrator / filament dryer. It can accommodate common 1 kg spools as well as larger spools such as a 3 kg spool.

It is based heavily on established designs but adds adjustable barriers on the sides of the spool to hopefully prevent the filament unwinding off of new spools.

The build as shown in the pictures uses four 608 bearings, commonly known as skateboard or skate bearings. It can also be built entirely out of printed parts if you print your own 608 bearings, such as the one found here: <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/17916" rel="external">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/17916</a>
