<div><p>I did a remix from this mask <a rel="nofollow" href="/thing:3523600">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3523600</a> fixed a little bit the interior, tried to reduce the amount of material used, move the eye holes so you&apos;re able to see with the mask on, removed the top to reduce material and to fit better in the head, finally, some holes in the sides for holding the mask in the face.<br>
Printing:<br>
You gotta mirror each piece in cura, custom support blockers in the eyes (as see in picture 2) to use less material and less supports<br>
Printing time 30h, 202 gr of material.<br>
Post printing:<br>
You gotta remove the supports from the face part, then glue the two pieces together, put the strings to hold it in your face, I glued an extra thing (idk the name) behind the front of the mask and added a string so the masks hold into your face from three sides, for the eye holes I glued in the interior some transparent red paper (no idea of the name in english).<br>
Issues:<br>
With the paper thing on the eyes, when you&apos;re using the mask it starts to get fogged, that&apos;s basically the main issue.<br>

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I have created a replica of a Sonic Screwdriver, and oh my, it (almost) works. See Sonic Screwdriver demo video below. The original was used by the Tenth Doctor Who, David Tennant, who played in the series from 2005 until 2010. It was my entry to the cosplay design contest.</p>

<p>Elaborate instructions on what&apos;s needed, how to print and how to assemble is included in the pdf manual. As I didn&apos;t have silver coloured filament and transparant blue, I had to improvise somewhat as is being described in the instruction. Naturally you can avoid the painting and fiddling by just ordering the right coloured PLA. The flashing LEDs are created using a bicycle light. I have added a picture of the version I used. Depending on your version you might need the 2 battery pack or the 4 battery pack. </p>

<p>The box has been printed using ColorFabb Woodfill. Two versions are uploaded. I have used the 2 mm version in combination with a paperclip for the hinges. You can also use the three mm version in combination with a piece of filament to create the hinge.</p>
